On the touring models this means a 13% increase in torque performance Dyna – 17% increase and Softail – 15% increase. The Twin Cam 96 increases displacement to 1584cc. In addition, a 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission is now standard on all motorcycles. It replaces the Twin Cam 88 introduced in 1999.
